Tights, tights and more tights. Whether they are colorful or have a crazy pattern, tights are a hit this season. Put them on with a pair of knee high boots, pumps or flats. Some of my personal favorites are by Free People.

Black and white scream classic and what better way to show elegance then in Chanel's signature colors. These may be the simplest in your closet's color scheme, but they can make an enormous statement. When wearing Chanel, a woman can feel her beauty radiating from deep within. Mara Hoffman

Mara Hoffman is well known for her designs on HBO’s “Sex and the City” where she created sexy and sophisticated looks for Carrie and the girls. The New York fashion designer launched her line in 2000, and has continued to create couture looks throughout the years. Showcasing her work at New York's Fashion Week, she has transformed from hand-dyed pieces into silk prints that are inspired from travel, nature, and of course fantasy.

When shopping in Austin, don't forget about SoCo. The area is filled with restaurants, bars, and shopping. On the first Thursday of every month, the boutiques stay open late and people can enjoy cocktails while going up and down the street.
